Love Is The Only One - Chapter 1

He held the little plastic stick in his shaky hands, biting at his lip nervously. Blur's guitarist Graham Coxon was sat in the little bathroom of the band's tour bus, waiting desperately for the life changing result that would come from the pregnancy test.

He looked at the time on his watch over and over again, hoping that he wouldn't have to wait much longer, "Just 30 more seconds…" He said to himself.

Graham squeezed his eyes shut. Maybe he didn't want to find out the result, and if he did was he prepared for the result?

30 seconds soon passed, the guitarist gulped, this was it. This little plastic stick could change his life, for better and for worse.

He took a deep breath, and then opened one eye slowly.

It was positive.

Graham put his hand over his mouth, gobsmacked, and at that moment he felt tears rolling down his cheeks.

The singer, Damon Albarn, however was passing by the tour bus's bathroom when he heard the guitarist's sniffles and sobs.

"Graham? Are you alright?"

The only response he got was more sniffles from the younger man so he slowly opened the door.

Damon's face now showed extreme concern when he saw his friend sat on the edge of the toilet seat (lid down), looking down at the plastic pregnancy test.

"Love what's wrong?"

"Damon…remember that night we had together the other week at the beginning of the tour?"

"Of course I remember it! How could I forget about that?"

It was true, that night they had together was splendid. The two boys both remembered it well.

"And do you know how I've been throwing up recently in the mornings?"
He singer nodded, confused on what he was coming too.

"Well…" More tears fell down his face.

"Gra, what is it?"

The guitarist sighed, looking down at the floor.

"I'm pregnant."
